The Big Swim – make a splash for Children’s Brain Tumour Research Saturday 20th September at the University of Nottingham Swimming Pool

Come and take a dip with us – get fit, stay healthy, have fun and raise money all at the same time – what a great day out!

The Big Swim is an annual event which raises funds on behalf of Nottingham’s Children’s Brain Tumour Research centre (CBTR).

Your efforts could make a significant difference to a child suffering with a brain tumour as the money is used to fund vital research and treatment of brain tumours in children, which account for 25% of all childhood cancers.

This will be the third year that a sponsored swim has been held in support of CBTR and we want to make an even bigger splash with The Big Swim this year by raising the total to over £75,000.

Speedo is offering two fantastic goody bag prizes  containing swimwear, apparel and accessories. There is one goody bag for the Big Swim participant who raises the most sponsorship and the other is a lucky draw which all Big Swim participants are automatically entered into!

In addition, everyone taking part will receive a souvenir Big Swim swimming cap, courtesy of Speedo.

The Big Swim takes place at The University of Nottingham Swimming Pool on Saturday September 20 in combination with the CBTR Open Day. There’s lots of fun for all the family so why not get sponsored, come along and make a big splash for CBTR!
